Childish as I am

It's official: I'm probably the worst blogger ever.But since my last post I just couldn't make it to post anything. I don't know what's happened with me. I' ve never had such lack of inspiration before. But things are getting better these days. I've got plenty of DIY things to share with you and some new buys as well.

As for today's post, I want to apologise for the poor photo quality. The photos were taken with my really old phone LG KE970i. My camera battery ran dead in the beggining of the photo session and I just couldn't miss my sudden flow of inspiration so I had to use my old, but still useful mobile.
I played with the hues on the Windows photo manager in order to have the vintage, mild-line image that I had in my head. I'm just mad about this photo effect. It looks very romantic to me and such photos always make me smile.

A little DIY bow I made some time ago and some little flowers I just picked from our garden.

Some of my DIY bracelets. I made them from some really old beads I recently found home. Sometimes I'm really happy about the fact that I hardly throw anything away.

I can never get enough of flowers. :)

Sink or Swim

This video..it's amazing. I just can't find the words to illustrate how much I love it. It's just so beautiful that when I saw it for the first time I was left breathless.I found it a couple of days ago after a short search of the song, which I heard on a TV commercial for mobile phones. Does it ever happen to you to search for songs from TV ads?

The song is great, you just have to hear it.
And the girl from the video is Marine Vacth. She's unimaginably beautiful French actress and model and she's also starring in the Yves Saint Laurent's campaign "La Nuit de L'Homme" alongside Vincent Cassel. Looking at photos of her it makes me wonder is it really possible for a human being to be so beautiful?

Captures of May

Here are some photos that G and I took in May, showing some of the nature's beauties in springtime and details of one of my spring outfits. Some of the photos are made with his camera and others with mine, hence the difference in pictures' quality.
On the fifth photo there is something like a shelf or a table, that had been thrown away, standing right next to the garbage bins. :)

The sheltering sky

Just came across this photo session of Jessica Stam in the May 2008 edition of Vogue UK. The session is called 'The Sheltering Sky' and it's nothing but amazing!

A little bit of a photo overload, but I couldn't resist on making a post about her. Elisa Nalin is a huge source of inspiration. Not only is she a very beautiful woman, but she also has a great style. With all her bright outfits and bold colour blocking she creates great combinations that are so fresh and energizing for this season. And she's not that extravagant and eccentric as Anna Dello Russo, which also wins her points in my book.

Again, a bit old one, but the look is very much in vogue this spring. And the message of her tattoo is quite witty: Acta non Verba means 'Act, don't talk!'
